Little League Elbow & Medial Epicondylitis

This condition presents from overuse of the elbow and is not associated with a traumatic event. Medial Epicondylitis typically causes pain and numbness with increased activity relieved by rest, but can become constant as the condition worsens. Tenderness will be felt on the inside of the elbow. There will generally be pain when flexing your wrist and diminished grip strength may also be present.

Self Check: Activities such as baseball, golf, typing, and working with your hands put a person at a higher risk of developing medial epicondylitis. Grab a bar or object secured to a wall or the floor try to turn your wrist in. If you feel pain and tingling on the inside of your elbow, you may be experiencing this condition.
