Dr. Alex Aten received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. During school, he attended many advanced seminars from distinguished organizations such as Motion Palpation Institute (MPI), Active Release Techniques (A.R.T), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) as well as being on the Dean’s list for multiple trimesters.
Dr. Aten has a passion for studying the function and performance of the human body. In his practice, his main goals are to treat each patient individually, to find the true cause of their symptoms, and to help fix the cause as quick as possible using a combination of joint manipulation, muscle and other soft tissue therapies, rehabilitative exercises, and patient education.
Dr. Aten grew up in Grant, NE until eighth grade when his family moved to Kearney, NE where he graduated from Kearney High School. He spent two years at Doane College and was a member of the basketball and golf teams before transferring to the University of Nebraska-Kearney to finish his degree with a bachelor of science in Health Science.
Dr. Aten spent three years practicing chiropractic in Colorado before moving back to Nebraska to be closer to family. When Dr. Aten is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Marcela, and his son. In his free time, Dr. Aten enjoys staying active, playing golf, and spending time with family as well as cheering on the Cornhuskers and Denver Broncos.
